Our story
From the heart of Alfama
We are a local Lisbon souvenir shop bringing Portuguese craftsmanship, traditions and memories of Lisbon to visitors from around the world.
A small shop on a quiet lane
You'll find us on Rua de São Pedro, a few minutes' walk below the Sé Cathedral, on the way up to Santa Luzia. The shop is small on purpose — wooden shelves, tiles on the wall, and only what we can stand behind.
Push the door open, take your time, and ask us anything. If you're carrying it home in hand luggage, we'll wrap it so it survives the trip.
Portuguese craftsmanship
Azulejos painted by hand, cork from the Alentejo, Barcelos roosters glazed in the Minho, filigree spun in Gondomar, linens embroidered in Nisa and Madeira. These are crafts with long traditions in Portugal, and we choose pieces that keep those traditions alive rather than imitate them.
Alongside them we keep the everyday favourites — tram socks, tile magnets, postcards — because a souvenir doesn't have to be expensive to be honest.
Buying with us
Everything on this site is on the shelves in our shop and ships from Lisbon. Prices are the same as at the counter. We ship within Portugal, across the EU and internationally, and we pack ceramics and tiles carefully for the journey.
